From the airport:
You may either take a taxi from the airport to our hotel, costing around 14 euros, or pick up a city bus to Heraklion dowtown; your bus stop is "Eleftheria’s square" (also known as Liberty or Astoria square). Then, walk towards Lions square (through Dedalou pedestrian & shopping street) and then all along 25th August street, which is the main pedestrian street of the old town. At the end of 25th August street, turn left and walk another 150m till you see Kronos Hotel in front of you.
Please keep a few things in mind:
-All buses that start from the airport head to the city center, but please ask before you get on the bus, just in case.
-Public buses run approximately till midnight.
-The ticket fee is 1,20 Euros per person (A’ Zone- orange-colored). You buy tickets either at the kiosk or the automatic ticket machine; just make sure you have coins or 5-euro banknotes.
From the port:
You may either take a taxi for 5-7 Euros or take a 15-minute walk to our hotel. As you head out of the port, walk through the main gate, turn right and walk along the coast all the way to the Venetian harbour, where you see a roundabout. Then keep on walking along the coast, passing by the restaurants till you see Kronos hotel on the first corner on your left hand.
